In the initial release of Dx Opt, you were able to see on a provider level not only the amount of orders they over ordered...but also how that compared to the number of encounters or patients a doc saw. This is an important fact because it truly shows are they over ordering all the time or just every once in awhile based upon workload.
Ex: If a provider sees 100 patients and over orders 10 tests on 50% of them...that is a big deal! If a provider sees 100 patients and only over orders 1 test..that is not as crucial.
This key insight was helpful in truly showcasing the power of the tool.
