In a multi-location model (across multiple hospitals), employee numbers can overlap, and this needs to be avoided because user IDs within nPOC must be unique.
To avoid this issue, specific IDs need to be devised, or prefixes for the employee number or something similar.
However, this means that with every change, new barcodes need to be created, printed, and distributed to all nurses.
