It should be possible to configure by instrument type the automatic deactivation of Lots. Specially for instrument types with a high throughput of lots i.e. blood gas instruments like cb123, ABL90, G5000 or cobas LIATs produces a lot of work in the user interface.
It would save a lot of time for the POCC.
In huge multi site environments without a centralized POCC it isn't allowed to deactivate material lot by one site, because it could be an impact on another site. So it would be easylier to wait until end of life of the material lot and run the automatically deactivation.
I think these would be increase the user experience, because the POCC has one less of the daily task ( if it's configurable).

Very good idea. Let me discuss that with the team to see if this can be put in scope of 3.1 release.
