Currently, navify Analytics for POC lacks the ability to rename devices for display purposes. In navify Analytics Core, this is handled via the Data Dictionary, allowing users to map a "Source Device" to a "Visible Device Name." As shown in the attached screenshots, many devices at University Hospital Zurich (USZ) share identical or highly technical naming conventions, often only distinguishable by their serial numbers (e.g., several entries named "USZ-HGT-HGC-OST B 20-x"). This makes it extremely difficult for lab managers to identify specific instruments in reports. We need the functionality to edit these records so that a user-friendly alias can be assigned to each device. |
