@Adam Millard @Hendrik Maier we are looking into this for connected devices not sending dat to be added to the calculation. Non connected idl time will need to be looked at later .

For which customer and which region please ? We only see you as guest, therfore this infomation is not avilable to us.
Today we can't tell whether the instrument is available for use or not. Then when we display a device utilization, it can't tell user whether the utilization rate on the available time, but the total utilization time. It would be more valuable to see the utilization rate compared to available time, so that if an instrument is not used enough, we could tell whether it is due to unavailability of the instrument or due to other reasons related to lab activity.
Please elaborate on which customer needs and use case
