In Germany recently a cooperation agreement with Nexus was successfully concluded last week. Due to this I would like to challenge the option of having a Agent pulling data from the LIS database.
Nexus is the leading provider of laboratory information systems (LIS) for pathology in Germany with over 60% market share and 250 installations. Roche and Nexus have been working together for years to enable mutual customers to benefit from the networking of the Nexus LIS and our RTD systems. Now the cooperation is also formally regulated.
The cooperation agreement regulates the cooperation in the field of pathology under the following key aspects:
Joint Marketing
Nexus prefers to display our RTD systems in their advertising materials (e.g. in flyers and customer presentations)
Roche is now officially allowed to present Nexus as a cooperation partner (e.g. in customer meetings / presentations)
Nexus is ready to act as a subcontractor of Roche if necessary
Nexus and Roche are striving to work together Reference
customers to professional exchange of IT expertise for interface development
Nexus and Roche mutually disclose internal, technical information (e.g. development documents - also from the BA)
Contract regulates the confidentiality of the information exchanged on both sides Nexus explains
Roche unfulfilled customer requirements for RTD systems (e.g. software errors but also customer requests)
Mutual transfer of IT systems for interface development
Roche transfers Nexus systems including licenses for development, test and demo purposes (iScan Coreo, Connect, Vantage and uPath)
Nexus transfers installation incl. License of the LIS "NEXUS / PATHOLOGIE"
