Start Time at LIS Registration

Business case

Not a deal breaker but showing that we pay attention to details and fine tuning the product over time with features like these are a good signal to the market. It makes the customer trust more in our capability to build great products and making sales easier.

Idea detail description

Manual registration of samples do occur in the lab and might even be handled through other processes before it ends up on a pre-analytical system or in an analyzer. The users need a way to get information of sample registration in before that, which they usually do outside of the analyzers and pre-analytics system through LIS.

navify Monitoring is not connected to the LIS, navify Monitoring is connected to datasorces, for the moment Infinity Gateway and in the future RADID of navify Integrator. In case there is a need for the product to consume data coming from different external systems (in this case the LIS), are the data produces who need to connect somehow with navify Integrator first. Then, navify Monitoring will be able to exploit data coming from the LIS, other middleware solutions or other devices, etc. But direct connection between navify Monitoring to specific LIS is not a valid approach.

@Daniel Swahn As you are aware, nMon does not have such information to display for the customers. However, this topic is in the scope of navify Sample Tracking. Oliver Gutmann is navify Sample Tracking's product manager. Please reach out to him for this idea.

nMon is also interested in working with nSampleTracking to enrich the possibility of tracking samples from LIS Registration.

Please keep me posted with this topic.
