Solution Approach: Linking Monitoring and Analytics

Idea detail description

Monitoring is responsible for live tracking. We increasingly have customers who use navify Analytics in addition to monitoring. It would be useful if we had the option of switching from monitoring to analytics via a link. This would be useful, for example, if we see certain recurring events in monitoring and want to check whether these are one-off events or whether they have occurred in the past.

    Hi Qilei,

The customer is MVZ Labor Ludwigsburg, and the user is the lead medical technical assistant (MTA). They frequently receive inquiries from various senders about the status and location of their samples. To address these inquiries, the MTA currently checks in the monitoring system to see if the sample is marked as delayed. From there, she would like to switch directly to navify Lab Operations to use the detailed sample tracking and determine the exact location of the sample.

The current workaround involves leaving monitoring and opening Lab Operations separately, which is time-consuming. A direct link to the sample tracking within navify Lab Operations would save time and allow the user to remain within the solution, streamlining their workflow significantly.

@Hendrik Maier Thank you for the idea input!

We had a discussion in the product team.

It is technically not a problem to insert a URL link to navfiy Analytics. However, we found this case worthy of further understanding because it represents of solution use. If leveraging nPortal in the near future, the user flow and design should be better thought through than just giving a URL link.

Therefore, can you please please give us specifics of the use case? It will be especially helpful to give examples. So that we can work with nPortal for the use case:

    • Which customer has raised the topic?

    • What's the use scenario: who is the user? What's the goal for the user to achieve? How often does it happen?

    • What's the current pain points and workarounds?

We are looking forward to your input to move forward,

    Qilei
