For University of Basel, they need to track the efficiency of c8100. End points are "seen by analytics" or "seen by post-analytics".
Pedatric sample Scenario:
Pediatric sample workflows have 2 times of manual scanning.
1st time scanning is to receive the sample by registering in LIS.
2nd time manual scanning is in infinity, before aliquot.
Then the aliquoted samples will be loaded manually to analytics.
Need: Same group of lab technicians take care of both paediatric and adult samples. It will be most efficient to have one LST showing both sample types.
For doing so, they need combined starting point and end point.
Starting point: Seen by operator + Seen by pre-analytics. - Seen by one of them. - Available in 1.06
Ending point: Seen by fridge + results sent by host. -> Seen by fridge or results sent by host.
It will be great that nMon connects with LIS, where we have all the time points.
Track pre-analytics 8100 scenario:
Urine sample is sorted by 8100 and go directly to fridge.
Need: for combined end-point (seen on analytics and seen on post-analytics)
Currently, we only heard from USB, discussion with USB is on hold. I suggest to park this one for now.
One question that immediately pop-up is if both selected starting points should apply for all tests. Basically, is it ok when the adult samples also start getting tracked when the first startpoint (manual scan) is reached.
Or is there a need to select which starting point applies to which specific tests?
