Sometimes we reroute tubes for special reasons (like clot), to a different output (OPU for CCM / OBS for c8100). This could be interesting to be shown on the monitoring dashboard because of the "exceptional character". |
@ tom.lierman@roche.com, currently since nMon receives events through IGW from infinity, nMon does not have the access to the events/data points from CCM and 8100. We are investigating the path with Integrator, but it will take some time.
I'm wondering if using LST to track the special cases could be an alternative for the immediate need.

I can find the use case for all cobas 8100 users which have nMon. In Belgium we always forsee a specific error tray used for "CLOT" sortings (clot is detected on the instrument, tube comes out > CLOT is captured by nLO & sorted by the Workflow in the CLOT error tray. But other exceptional sortings are equally interesting.
For CCM users, it will be more difficult as we not always get the sample sorted message if a tube/rack is sorted in an OPU... but the demographic and workflow logic stays the same.
Which customers (I can only speak for Belgium): Jan Yperman, Clinique Saint-Luc Bouge, AZ Delta, ZNA Antwerp (and more to come)
This is quantifiable by means of exception handling and complaint avoiding. The sooner the lab/technicians are made aware of the exception, the sooner they can intervene and do what is necessary. I estimate that every lab has 2-3 clots per day for sure.
If I present nMon to customers, I define this as an operational tool to manage the track better. Our solutions are sometimes so big to oversee, where we provide tools to help them focus on the exceptions and stear them in the right way. This tool can then be used to avoid extra staff (technicians) running around to keep an eye on the track.
