Concept of a 'Notepad' style widget that allows staff to communicate important information to all staff who can view larger wallboard screens, supporting improved focus on additional actions that our technical solution cannot support. The Notepad widget should also support a degree of traceability e.g being able to capture who is posting the notification and when, when it is manually cleared and by who, and an export of the notifications and timestamps.

Ward phones lab and needs urgent test adding - need a better way to communicate this to staff, and have traceability with a log/record that can be saved.
Also useful for Transfusion for blood preparation and collection.
Prepare blood for outreach hospitals >>> Porters come from outstations to collect and staff need to know that it has been. Currently staff write the information on a whiteboard in the lab/reception area, and then the board is wiped by lab staff. This gives no clear permanent trail in 1 place and sometimes time is wasted chasing up collection due to the whiteboard not being manually updated.
Also, orders for 2 units of blood but clinician needs 3 - high urgency to deal and deliver the extra unit in a short space of time - this needs to be highlighted until it is dispatched.
